My Prenatal Yoga classes are much more than yoga for the childbearing year. I am passionate about using the class as an opportunity to not only utilize yoga as the incredible birth preparation that it is, but to also share in discussion about birth & postpartum truths so that students can critically consider what they desire for their birth and postpartum journey.
Each practice begins with 15 - 25 minutes of childbirth education followed by a yoga practice designed to stretch & strengthen the body with specific considerations to how the body is changing during this sacred time. The practice will include physical movements, breathwork, and meditation adapted to each stage of pregnancy. Expect to feel nourished and to come away with new knowledge to help inform your pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience.
